Dear SAP-VN Supporters,
As many of you know, the central and highland areas of Vietnam are currently facing severe natural disasters of unprecedented magnitude. From the onset of these catastrophic events, SAP-VN has been collaborating closely with our Vietnamese liaisons to determine where our funding can be most effectively utilized.
In our immediate disaster relief efforts, we are working diligently with local authorities to provide fresh drinking water and non-perishable food supplies to those in need. Additionally, once the waters recede, we have identified several long-term relief initiatives aimed at helping the affected individuals regain stability and assisting schools and hospitals in recovering essential items.
At this time, we are not requesting additional donations from our supporters. SAP-VN plans to allocate $100,000 from our general funds towards these relief efforts. We will continue to update you as we receive more information.
Currently, we have identified the following needs:
- Tuyen Quang: Donation of a new orthopedic machine, as the old one was ruined by the flood.
- Quang Nam: Provision of three water filtration systems for schools and school supplies, including backpacks and textbooks, for 700-1,000 students.
- Other provinces in contact: Hue, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa.
Thank you for your ongoing support of SAP-VN.
Together, we can make a difference!
