SAP-VN Mobile Care Clinic Scholarship
APPLY: 2019-2020 Mobile Care Clinic Scholarship
SAP-VN is pleased to announce our annual Mobile Care Clinic Scholarship, which will sponsor three Vietnamese low-income undergrad/graduate students or recent graduates to join the Mobile Care mission in Vietnam. The mission will take place from July 26 to July 31, 2020. Estimated cost of the trip is about $1,500/person, including airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals. Recipients must raise their own funds which SAP-VN will match 1 to 1 for up to $1,000. Recipients will be expected to help plan for the mission and to take leadership positions during the trip to organize and mobilize youth volunteers.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be of Vietnamese ancestry and residing in the US
- Current undergrad/graduate student or recent graduate (within 2 years)
- Demonstrate financial needs
- Two essays of up to 400 words each about how you have demonstrated leadership and compassion
Not eligible to apply:
- Past recipients of SAP-VN scholarships
- Immediate family members of SAP-VN Board of Directors or Scholarship Selection Committee members
