SAP-VN is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Mobile Care scholarships. The purpose of these scholarships is to foster compassion and leadership in the young adults in our Vietnamese community, and to encourage them to develop a passion for volunteering to improve society.
The scholarship recipients will serve as SAP-VN’s youth leaders to help organize and plan activities during our 2024 mobile care trip to Dong Thap, Vietnam this July.
Winners of the Ryan Dang scholarships ($1,500 each) are Brandee Nguyen and Linh Lam.
Winners of the Rose Pageant scholarships ($500 each) are Diane Dinh, Kim Tran, and Vy Tran.
Thank you judges (anh Hieu, Jonathan, and Lien) for helping to select the Ryan Dang scholarship winners. They had to score all the essay submissions. We had many well written submissions this year so this was a very difficult task.
All winners have confirmed their acceptance of the scholarships. As part of both scholarships’ requirement, each recipient agrees to the following:
- Attend SAP-VN Mobile Care scheduled for July 28 – August 2, 2024.
- Attend meetings and assist with planning for mobile care.
- Serve as SAP-VN’s youth leader during mobile care.
- Attend the scholarship award ceremony on Saturday, March 23rd.
