Hello SAP-VN volunteers,
For our February 2024 local service project, we are partnering with Foster Love to donate duffel bags to kids in the foster care system.
Many kids going into foster care are given a trash bag to gather their belongings and move from one temporary placement home to another. SAP-VN would like to donate 30 duffel bags and care kits to give these kids a more secure and dignified way of storing and moving their belongings.
Each child’s (ages 0-12) duffel bag and care kit (see image below) costs $30, and each teen (ages 12-18) duffel bag costs $20. We need volunteers (ages 15 and older) to help pack and decorate the children’s duffel bags.
