FACE MASK KIT SEWING STEPS [DOWNLOAD]
1. Cut 2 pieces of 7” elastic and set aside. Fold fabric in half. Sew 1/4” seam across 3” and stop. Leave 3” opening, then continue to sew another 3”.
2. Press seam open.
3. Sew 1/8” top stitch around 3” opening.
4. Fold top edge 3/8” away from seam. Insert both ends of one piece of 7“ elastic inside top and bottom edge to form a curve, then sew 1/2” seam down.
5. Repeat Step 4 on the opposite side.
6. Turn mask inside out.
7. Fold 3 pleats up in the same direction on both sides. Each pleat is 3/4” with 1/2” spacing in between. Top and bottom should be 1”.
8. Sew 1/8” top stitch all around edge of mask.
9. Finished mask! 🙂
