Support individuals in their fundraising efforts by sponsoring them as they perform their activity (which may be a lump sum or per activity). For donation receipts and acknowledgement, please write your name and email address on your comment section as well as any requests to earmark your donations toward any specific programs.

WHAT IS IT?

ANSWER:  It’s a Fundraiser to help SAP-VN raise funds for 2021 projects in Viet Nam and USA

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE AND HELP?

ANSWER:  See procedures below:

1. 1. GO TO SAP-VN WEBSITE TO SIGN UP AS A VOLUNTEER PARTICPANT

   2. CHOOSE AN ACTIVITY that you would like to do. For example: Read, eat, run, jog, sing, play video games etc.  and DECIDE HOW LONG YOU WILL TAKE TO DO YOUR ACTIVITY (ie 1 hour or 1 week.  It’s up to you and your choice of activity.
   3. COME UP WITH A WAY to get donations for doing your favorite activity: It could be per task or one lump sum.
      For example: See how many books you can read in a week and get donations for each book you read.  Jog for ___mile in one hour and get sponsors to donate ___dollars per mile. Play your favorite video game for an hour, see how many points you can earn, and get sponsors to donate ___dollars or cents per point. You can be as creative as you want in your activity and how you can garner donations for your activity.
   4. FILL OUT THE ENCLOSED SAMPLE LETTER AND CALL, EMAIL, TEXT, POST ONLINE TO YOUR GROUP OF FRIENDS/FAMILIES and get their commitment/donation for your tasks. Keep track of who has committed to your activity and how they plan to donate once you completed your task.

WHEN IS THE START DATE AND END DATE FOR THE DO-ANYTHING-A-THON?

ANSWER:  You can start planning your activity, sign up, and contact your potential donors immediately.  You have from now until Dec 5 to do your activity.  You have until Dec 15 to turn in any outstanding sponsors donations.  If your sponsors donate directly to SAP-VN then you don’t have to do any collecting. 

**As a suggestion, you can privately post “selfie” videos of your activities and your request for sponsors on Private YouTube videos which you will send you only those in your contact list.**
